SUMMARY:IUPAP satellite event at BSBF 2024
DESCRIPTION:We will participate in a satellite event of the BSBF 2024 on Tuesday\, October 1st\, from 9:15 to 14:00\, focused on “The role of Academia and Industry to inspire the next STEM generation.” The event will explore the potential impact of research-industry collaboration on building a sustainable society. This collaboration has been shown to motivate not only future STEM employees but also future leaders and key societal stakeholders. Engaging young people in science is a priority for both IUPAP\, a leading organization in the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development\, and the broader scientific and tech industry community. \nThe event will feature a roundtable discussion with representatives from major scientific research infrastructures and technology companies\, showcasing their contributions to society and their efforts to inspire the next generation of STEM professionals\, starting at the high school level.
