During the Didacta 2024 Puglia edition, a workshop was held to address the recent introduction of modern physics into high school curricula, providing an exceptional opportunity to revamp science education.

The event, aimed at educators and beyond, focused on supporting teachers in embracing this new challenge by offering hands-on experiences and cutting-edge educational tools.

The workshop showcased innovative experiments and high-tech modular products designed to facilitate the teaching of modern and nuclear physics in secondary schools. Practical solutions from CAEN for studying natural radioactivity, originating from both the ground and the sky, were presented as an effective way to explore the laws governing the physical world. Additionally, a simple and intuitive experimental approach was introduced to address the quantum nature of light, making complex concepts more understandable through direct observation.

Participation in this workshop offered an opportunity to enhance teaching skills and discover new approaches to make modern physics accessible, stimulating, and engaging for students.
