From 14 to 17 July 2026, CAEN took part in “Physics4Teenagers – Il Contagio della Fisica,” a training course for high school teachers of mathematics, physics, and science, organized by the Department of Physics of the University of Pavia.

The four-day program brought together educators from across Italy for a rich schedule of lectures, hands-on activities, and outreach initiatives, including sessions on science communication, the importance of STEAM education, particle physics, and a visit to LENA (Laboratorio Energia Nucleare Applicata). The course also featured evening events such as an astronomical observation at Ca’ del Monte and a historical-scientific walk through the city of Pavia.

As part of this year’s edition, CAEN contributed to the program by supporting a series of hands-on educational laboratories, giving teachers the opportunity to explore practical, classroom-ready approaches to modern physics topics.

This collaboration reflects CAEN’s ongoing commitment to science education, offering teachers innovative tools and experiences to bring cutting-edge physics closer to the classroom and inspire the next generation of students.
