From 13 to 16 September 2026, CAEN took part as an exhibitor at PLT 2026 (Praktikumsleitertagung), the annual conference of the Working Group on Physics Laboratory Courses (AGPP) of the German Physical Society (DPG), hosted this year by Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg.

PLT is Germany’s leading meeting point for everyone involved in organizing and running physics lab courses at universities and colleges, and this year’s edition was no exception. Lab-course coordinators, lecturers, and teachers from across the country came together to exchange ideas, build new connections, and see first-hand how other institutions design and run their teaching labs.

The program, curated by the host institution, opened with an overview of Otto-von-Guericke University’s teaching organization, followed by presentations on new and particularly innovative lab experiments. Guided tours then took participants through the university’s physics and physics-education laboratories, including the medical physics lab course and the Stimulate research campus. Alongside the talks, a company exhibition brought together leading manufacturers of teaching equipment, measurement instruments, lab experiments, and software – CAEN among them.

At the CAEN stand, visitors had the chance to explore our educational kits and solutions and discuss with our team how they can be adapted to different lab-course formats and student levels. It was a valuable few days of exchange with the German physics-education community, and we look forward to the next edition of PLT.
