We are proud to announce that the first edition of the “Nuclear and Particle Physics Experiments for Schools and Universities” webinar has successfully taken place. This comprehensive demonstration of our educational kits, designed for high schools and universities, attracted significant interest, with 139 people registering and 61 certificates of participation issued.
This school was perfect for anyone interested in exploring real-world experiments in particle physics using our CAEN kits, or for those looking to deepen their understanding of these advanced educational tools. Whether you were a high school teacher, university professor, or a student passionate about physics, this demonstration was crafted just for you.
The session, which lasted approximately 2 hours, was led by Massimo Venaruzzo (Director of CAEN India) and Cristina Mattone (Educational Product Manager).
The program included a rich presentation about the CAEN Educational products line and a hands-on demonstration of some of our popular kits: the Environmental Kit, Cosmic Hunter, GammaEdu, and RockyRad. Participants learned how to conduct experiments with both natural and artificial radioactive sources, ranging from gamma decays in indoor and outdoor environments to cosmic rays.
We invited all educators, students, and physics enthusiasts to register and take part in this exciting educational experience.
All participants who attended the demonstration live were eligible to receive a Certificate of Participation.
